Delaying the clotting process that will eventually seal
this aching hole in me-

A rush of cold air, accompanied by dark, bubbly sheets, takes the sweat from warm skin.
In the darkness of the sheathes of clouds there is a brightness that blinds me. I sit still.
I watch invisible hands reach up from the ground as if to hug a visitor in the sky. And the visitor in the sky, with strong and whisp-like arms reaches back, cries, and gives the lovely Gaia a kiss.
